During the 17th and 18th centuries, custom spread among young people from wealthy, British families of a journey across Europe in order to open one’s mind and learn from the culture, language, geography and art of other nations, in a life experience once called The Grand Tour.

Eventually, the custom spread to young people from other European countries, followed by travelers coming from all corners of the American continent in order to learn about their roots and the origin of Western civilization.

Today, in the 21st century, thanks to new technologies and advances in transportation, travelers of any age and country in the world have the opportunity to recreate the spirit of those first trips in a modern and exciting version of The Grand Tour.
